O my God
At the beginning of this day I turn to you
My Lord and Father Look upon me lovingly
As upon your child
Grant unto me/ To desire always
What is most acceptable to you That your will may be mine
And my will may be confirmed to yours

Lord, make me a channel of your peace
Where there is hatred; let me sow your love
Where there is injury, your pardon Lord
Where there is doubt, true faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
Where there is sadness, joy
O Master, grant that I may not seek
So much to be consoled, as to console
To be understood, as to understand
To be loved, as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned
It is in dying that we are
Born to everlasting life.
