The momentous occasion marked 75 years of the school’s
commitment to excellence and shaping young minds. The event ‘Rendezvous
Platino’ was graced by the Bishop Of Allahabad Diocese Louis Macsarehnas,
Col. Avinash D. Hemmedy as the
chief guest of the programme and Shri Stephen PD as the guest of honour. Amidst
the dignitaries were also present Vicar General of Allahabad Diocese, Rev. Fr.
Reginald D’Souza and the Chancellor of the Diocese of Allahabad, Rev. Fr.
Isidore D’ Souza.
The celebration featured a cultural extravaganza, which
commenced with the introduction of school’s rich history by the School Captain
Devannsh Mishra, further invoking Almighty’s blessings by lighting of the lamp
by School Principal Rev Fr. Archibald D’Silva and other dignitaries.
The event included a nostalgic walk down the memory lane,
with exhibits and displays highlighting the school’s milestones and
achievements over the years through the skit Sutradhar. Tiny toddlers made
everyone realize that we need to ‘Disconnect mobiles in order to reconnect with
our lives’. A beautiful retro Rhapsody was presented by classes 1 and 2.
It was a day to remember very fondly and gratefully those
marvellous Jesuits and Teachers who have been instrumental in shaping this
great institution. The seventy-five years of the Aloysian journey lived up to
its motto, “Pro Deo et Patria”.
On this auspicious and special occasion, the school
management felicitated its former Managers, Principals, Vice-Principals, Retd.
Teachers, present teaching faculty who have completed their 25 years of
service, Retd supporting staff and the toppers of ISC and ICSE 2024.
The School Principal Rev. Fr. Archibald D’Silva presented the
Jubilee Souvenir to the dignitaries as a mark of honour.
The cultural extravaganza ‘Rendezvous Platino’ had drawn its
curtains by vote of thanks keeping in mind the memories and melodies which will
linger on, inspiring us to strive for even greater heights in the years to
come.
