Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm across various regions of India. To help the children understand the significance of Diwali, teachers explained that the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.
As part of the celebration, the children decorated diyas beautifully using colours and glitter. They also made vibrant rangolis with the guidance of their teachers. The lighting of the ceremonial lamp was done by our Principal, Rev. Fr. Archibald D’Silva, marking the auspicious beginning of the celebration.
Our Coordinator, Sr. Thekla, encouraged the children to celebrate Diwali in a safe and eco-friendly manner. Both teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere throughout the pre-primary wing.
